MOPAR

MOPAR is an acronym for motor parts (MOtor PARts) and was first used by Chrysler in the 1920's.

When you think Mopar, you are reminded of the 1960-1970 era of the Mopar muscle cars. This brings up the Plymouth Roadrunner, Plymouth GTX, Plymouth Cuda, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, AAR Cuda and others.

You can still find a reasonably priced Mopar that is called a "survivor". What is a "survivor"? This is a vehicle or Mopar that throughout the years has not had any major restorations and has just been maintained as an every day driver or stored away for a period of time. These cars will need TLC, elbow grease and a lot of time and patience to bring them back to original condition.

You can still find these Mopar's for sale as well as the parts to keep these classics running well and looking great.

Now you also have to remember that there is the New Mopar. The Dodge Charger and Dodge Avenger, and others. Some of these newer Mopar vehicles appeal to many. They have all the new bells and whistles and of course that "HEMI" motor which has the power and sound like no other.

So...which one to buy when it comes time to purchase that Mopar. Only the buyer knows for sure.

We are here to help you with Mopar parts, accessories, restoration guides, detailing supplies and information. All for the classic Mopar, or the new Mopar of today.
